Sometimes you just gotta put on your big boy/girls pants and say to yourself…

This will be tough and just push through.

If getting in shape was easy all the time nobody would be overweight.

The good news is that it isn’t always hard.

In fact, once you get used to living a healthy life it’s pretty easy.

But there will always be those tough days you’ll have to push through.

Fitness is all mindset, the transformation is just the physical aspect.





 
 
 

The way you talk to yourself is extremely important.

If every time you’re working out you’re thinking negatively, it’s a matter of time before you self sabotage because fitness is a never ending journey.

Instead of thinking;

- This sucks

- I wish I was sleeping

- I’m so tired

Think positively and focus on all the good stuff you’re getting:

- This workout is helping me burn fat

- I’m proving my kids you can get things done even if you don’t want to

- I’m going to feel amazing after this

This little mindset shift will help you enjoy the process and be more consistent.

Your loved ones are watching.

Would you miss work if you didn’t feel like it?

Probably not, unless you want to be fired lol.

This means work is non-negotiable for you.

If you’re skipping workouts it’s because it’s negotiable for you.

If you feel like it, you do it.

If you don’t feel like it, you don’t.

That’s why the results are “ok”.

If you want to have outstanding results, you have to make it non-negotiable just like work.

You must get to the gym, period.

Doesn’t matter if you’re motivated or not.

The first two weeks are the hardest, after that it; gets easier.
