👋 Hi everyone! This is Joanne Dioko on the blue aka THUNDER. 💪🏼 I just completed 1000 WOs in 14 months! Let me tell you how my fitness journey started at Fit Club North.


In August 2021, I signed up for a 21-day challenge and met Maria Duschnisky. She became like a mother to me and a big influence in pursuing a healthy lifestyle. I signed up for a year at Fit Club, started doing 2 classes with Coach Jen at 5am, and overcame personal challenges and doubts.


I upgraded from 2WOs to 3WOs and joined the Belly Burn Challenge, Lean Machine Group, and Midmorning Family under Coach RJ. Thunder was born! I even challenged myself to 12 virtual workout replays in one day!


I experienced 3 massive changes during my fitness journey:


My connection with God became even stronger.

My physical strength and energy increased significantly.

I became more humble and grateful for everything.

The 3 factors to success are consistency, focus, and determination. I'm grateful to my family, Fit Club, and my coaches for their support.

👋 Hi, I'm Dave! 💪 Today is my 1000th workout 🎉 I started at Fit Club in 2020 because I was overweight and felt bad. 🏋️‍♂️ I saw a friend on Facebook who loved Fit Club, so I decided to give it a try and joined for a 20-day program. 🤗 It was hard, but the coaches and members were supportive, and I soon became a full-time member. 💪 Since then, I've lost weight, gained muscle, and improved my mental health. 🧘‍♂️ However, I still struggle with my obsession with the scale and sometimes regain weight, but I'm learning to trust the process. 🙏 Belly Burn challenges have been helpful for accountability and focus on nutrition. 🥦 Covid hit, but Fit Club still had virtual workouts which got me through the lockdowns. 💪 I want to thank the coaches and Fit Club staff for their support and encouragement. 🙏 Also, thank you to my fitfam for the friendship and challenges. And, of course, my wife and family for their support. 💕 If I could go back, I would have started taking care of my fitness and nutrition earlier. It's never too late! I just turned 60 and feel better than in my 20s. 💪 So, to anyone considering changing their lifestyle, just do it! Meet Mia, a determined and motivated woman who is ready to take control of her health and fitness. Like many of us, Mia has let time slip by and found herself feeling less than her best. But now, she is ready to make a change and take her fitness journey to the next level. 💪🏋️‍♀️
